岗位职责

RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Effectively develop and implement proactive Quality and Food Safety programs, ensure that Q&FS management system is robust, implemented and being complied with including legislation, all customer codes of practice, policies and procedures.
2. Develop capable plant Quality and Food Safety team, including QA, QC and Lab staffs. Effectively provide leadership, support, and mentoring to the plant based quality personal.
3. Leads customer audits, 3rd party audits including BRC audits, and assists 2nd party audits within NWF.
4. Serve as key quality and food safety business partner for Sales, Manufacturing, Purchasing and R&D ensuring business success by solving production and product quality issues.
5. Effectively conduct annual internal Q&FS audits at NWF Nantong plant. Facilitate Management Q&FS review for NWF Nantong plant.
6. Manage compliance of plant operations to Q&FS related laws and regulations.
7. Effectively coordinate and direct Q&FS programs to ensure continuous improvements of food products consistent with established standards. Implement manage and monitor a program to assure that all quality, raw material and finished good safety and regulatory compliance standard are met.
8. Develops and analyzes statistical data and product specification.
9. Manages regulatory and customer compliance related activities. Manages department costs to meet approved budget.
10. Identify, lead, and facilitate broad based product Q&FS programs and improvements throughout the company to set a level of superior performance against customer expectations.
11. Coordinating the definition and implementation of corrective and preventive action resulting from the in-depth cause analysis for customer incidents, product on hold and reduction of variation in process. Investigation customer complaint and issue an investigation report and in some instances respond to customer.
12. Plans, promotes, and organizes training activities. Monitor the effectiveness of an ongoing training program on safe food handling and Good Manufacturing Practices.
13. Define, lead, and facilitate internal and external operational audit evaluations in Q&FS.
14. Provide Q&FS leadership and input into raw material, product and process development activities to ensure product quality consistency and food safety.
15. Monitor trends and emerging issues within the Q&FS business environments to keep Newly Weds Foods informed, involved, and on the leading edge of such issues.
16. Serve in crisis management role for Quality and Food Safety.
17. Approximately 20% travel for customer visits and resolution of complaints.
18. Prepare and submits forms, records, and logs as required.
19. Perform other duties or special projects as needed.

任职资格


REQUIREMENTS
1. Bachelor and above degree in Food Safety, Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Environmental Health or similar discipline.
2. Minimum of 7 years Quality management experience in the food manufacturing industry as a QC Manager with a broad knowledge of Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Research & Development, and/or Technical service.
3. Must have a thorough understanding of GMP’s, Sanitation, HACCP, AIB, BRC, and similar audits and controls. Practical knowledge of pest behavior and pest management practices is necessary.
4. Training or prior experience in professional auditing standards or practitioner certifications. Excellent observational skills with the ability to make independent judgments of risk that go beyond typical checklist audits.
5. Ability to investigate potential food safety incidents and assess the severity of any at-risk conditions that would impact the supply chain and adversely affect food safety.
6. Written and verbal fluency in Chinese and English
7. Strong communication, analytical abilities, organization skill, and general knowledge of Adobe applications, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint), and Lotus Notes.
8. Behave with integrity, trust, and standing alone. Self-motivated with the ability to work under minimal supervision. Leadership competence is preferred.
9. Ability to travel extensively, work under pressure and meet timelines.
10. Ability to conduct inspections under strenuous conditions including climbing to access elevated platforms or other heights such as storage tanks and bulk storage silos.
11. Ability to work with periodic exposure to: (1) Loud environment, (2) airborne particles with stronger odors associated with spicy food ingredients, (3) cold, hot, wet and humid conditions, (4) walking and standing on concrete, (5) climbing steps, ladders, (6) standing on elevated surfaces.
