Your tasks
• Overall responsibility for strategic sourcing management goals achievement
• Responsible for negotiations for best possible cost service guarantee
• Supplier relationships management and procurement controlling
• Evaluate supplier core competencies and competitive positioning
• Implement supplier agreements/contracts when beneficial by working with cross-functional stakeholders and suppliers to reach agreement on contract terms and conditions
• Research and anticipate shifts in the negotiating power of suppliers
• Analyze industry trends and evolving technology to proactively identify supply base issues to minimize risk, protect continuity of supply, and utilize emerging opportunities

Your profile
• Solid presentation, communication and team skills as well as a sense of responsibility
• Good English skills are required
• Ability to systematically explore local market for new/alternatives technologies and suppliers based on an existing product roadmaps
• Well-founded, completed training of purchasing, negotiation, commercial understanding and cost breakdown
• Ability to add value, reduce costs and input to business improvements
• Perform local benchmarking in order to obtain industry standard cost levels
• Rich purchasing/strategic sourcing experience preferably in the area of manufacturing
• Willingness to travel within China (up to 30 %)
