岗位职责
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Enhance insight-driven B2B marketing capability
• Perform market research to identify, analyze and evaluate target markets, market conditions, customer behaviors, industry trends and competition.
• Partner with cross functional teams impacting product development and business strategy.
• Create reports and presentations that clearly highlight the actionable insights combined with business implications / strategic and tactics.
• Deliver effective, engaging client-focused presentations and debriefs
• Act as the eyes and ears of the organization to provide valuable insights into consumer / customer behavior effecting how Newly Weds designs, markets and distributes its products and services.
• Support primary, secondary and syndicated market research seeking ways to obtain more value
from existing studies and identifying opportunities for additional analysis that can provide
deeper insight into customers and market.
SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
Internal support
• Gather, analyze, organize, and communicate consumer and competitor data. Identify and insight
on key drivers and trends on food, beverage and nutrition in China and other markets.
• Prepare and share timely research and analytics to complement marketing and commercial strategy, tactics and decision making. Help define target markets and opportunities within them.
• Support Culinary and R&D with product concept design, creativity and innovation through interpretation of industry and market conditions, consumer behavior and consumer expectations.
• Work with cross-functional teams, external clients and media agencies to create research presentations and summaries.
• Think strategically, creatively and participate actively in data analysis to define, develop and facilitate marketing opportunities. Provide input on market assessment and entry strategy based on market conditions, consumer behavior and competitor data.
• Provide China insight support to global and regional marketing and culinary teams.
• Conduct competitive intelligence and landscape update. Prepare and maintain SWOT profiles and competitive intelligence on competitors and customers of clients.
• Create databases to capture market data including maintaining a competitive market share database
• Gather market related product data to produce routine and ad hoc reporting
• Evaluate demographics, prices, distribution channels and marketing outlets.
• Create and produce market research reports on specific products and markets
• Attend industry trade shows to facilitate collection of new emerging technologies, market research, and competitive intelligence.
• Attend sales and marketing meetings to present market research data to facilitate key business decisions for product development and enhancement.
• Coordinate with key stakeholder groups such as Sales, Sourcing / Supplier relations, Pricing etc. to gather key, compounding industry insights and proactively communicated industry news.
Outside support
• Customer presentations on market trends and developing customized solutions.
• By customer request and in consultation, lead consumer market research design, data collection
and analysis reported.
• Develop and prepare client reports on current trends.
• Confidently communicate market research insights to influence business decision makers
Support internal innovation work
• Lead sharing session on latest trends with Culinary, R&D and Commercial teams.
• Lead innovation brainstorming and support to generate actionable strategies and results.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience
• Bachelor degree or above
• Work experience in research agency, ideally focused on food, beverage or consumer health behavior.
• In depth knowledge of market research tools and databases
• Experience in qualitative and quantitative research techniques and analytics.
• Ability to interpret and deliver data driven information from diversified sources into useful business implications. Convert complex data presented into simple, artfully visual and graphical ways.
• Effective communication and confident presentation skills – written and oral
• Fluent in English and Mandarin
